Enquiries

For Senior Editor roles and Associate Editor (Social Media), enquiries may be directed to the Editor-in-Chief, Dr Joseph Crawford. For section-based Associate Editor roles, enquiries should be directed to the relevant Senior Editor of that section. All contact details are available on the Editorial Team webpage.

Formal applications must be made to joseph.crawford@utas.edu.au.

Requirements of Applications

For applications to be valid they must include the following. Editorial roles require attention to detail, and JUTLP receives significant inquiries in the application process, so errors in the application process will render the application void:

  • A short cover letter highlighting interest and passion in the role (maximum of 1-page, normal margin, font size no less than 11pt). In this letter, please ensure you include: a) a link to your up-to-date Google Scholar and Scopus pages, and b) a response to this statement: JUTLP operates across most major time zones, and does its best for the 10 monthly Section Editor meetings to be scheduled in sociable hours (e.g., between 7am and 8pm), and Editors are expected to attend 70% of those meetings scheduled during 7am-8pm their local time, how will you manage this commitment? The cover letter should be an attached document rather than email body text.
  • A short form resume/CV (2-pages maximum) focusing on education and experience. Publications are not required to be listed, we will review your Google Scholar and Scopus page.
